[edit] About Melange Fiesta
Also, if you're wondering why I have German and Russian added as level 0, here goes. I studied German for a semester at university, and so know how to pronounce most words and understand very basic sentences, and I also sang German classical music and learned the translations word-for-word. However, give me an article in German and I will probably be completely lost. As for Russian, I studied this for a semester and about three weeks of a second semester, and although I can read the characters somewhat competently, I can't understand anything but extremely basic questions or answers, and very few of those. I had meant to continue with my Russian studies, but due to circumstances out of my control that will no longer be an option.
[edit] Meaning of the name
Literally translated, it means "party mix" in French. I found it, unsurprisingly, on a bag of Humpty Dumpty party mix. (Canada is a bilingual country, so every package gets printed in both English and French.)
