[edit] This page shouldn't be up for deletion.
Just because someone lost the season doesn't mean their wikipedia page should be deleted. Someone obviously put work into this, so it seems kind of unfair to take away that. Is the page hurting anyone by it being up? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 65.185.0.198 (talk) 21:39, 7 December 2006 (UTC).
- This is only a slightly better argument than I like it, and is without value unless the subject passes WP:BIO, citing reliable sources, of course ;-). Ohconfucius 01:57, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Speedy Keep' She was in second place on a nationally broadcast television program, and is therefore notable. All Top 3 finalists on Top Model are noteable, though some more notable than others. Those below them? Debateable. HurriKaty
- Merge The article was previously deleted in an AFD at [[1]], with a redirect left in it's place. Any work writing the content would have been better suited on the target article rather than killing the redirect. --Sigma 7 02:18, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Speedy-able?
I don't particularly love this article and agree it should be deleted, but I'm not sure it meets the criteria for speedy deletion on the basis given... the previous deletion was prior to her competing and finishing runner-up, and I'm not sure but I would anticipate that the content had changed by then. I think AFD is probably the best route... -- PageantUpdater • talk | contribs | esperanza 02:07, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Why ?
Why do you want to delete it ?. This article is fresh, it needs more information of curse, but you can't say she's not sucessful or she's not enough noticeable because the cycle 7 ended yesterday, what do you want with just one day, a lot of work in just one day. Even if she ends being invisible, she deserves her article because she was the runner-up. I think that wikipedia just jave somthing against ANTM contestanst. What's the problem with havin' they in ?. Maybe you're not interested, but there's a lot of people that like to see ANTMers pages. I apreccite'em, and i work on them. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Thelastnigth (talk • contribs) 03:33, 8 December 2006 (UTC).
[edit] Leave it in.
Enough people seem to care about ANTM to keep it. Leave it alone. I like the fact that these pages are up about certain reality tv contestants, and I do look at them from time to time to see if they've done anything new or interesting. As far as quality goes, I've seen much worse wiki entries. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ted3977 (talk • contribs) 03:40, 8 December 2006 (UTC).
- All the other second runner-ups on Top Model have articles. Just because there is little information out there right now, doesn't mean there won't be. Melrose can now publicly work now that the show is over. She meets WP:Bio. It was deleted, yes, but that's when it wasn't notable, but now she is. If you're going to speedy delete this one, then I'm going to nominate all the other second runner-ups (unless they're notable).--andrew|ellipsed...Speak 03:43, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
