Meketaten
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Meketaten was the second daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti. She is frequently depicted with her sisters accompanying her royal parents in the first two thirds of Akhenaten's seventeen year reign.
She is however most famous for her death, thought to be in childbirth, which is depicted on the walls of chambers in her father's tomb. This took place in or after Year 12 of Akhenaten's reign. Fragments of her sarcophagus have been identified from the royal tomb.
