The Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute (MCLI) is a Berkeley, California-based non-profit corporation. MCLI was founded in 1965.^{[citation needed]}

The Meiklejohn Civil Liberties Institute carries on a wide range of activities, including research, publication, advocacy, and education. It publishes a quarterly newsletter, Human Rights Now!^{[citation needed]}

The organization is named after Alexander Meiklejohn, a philosopher, university administrator, and free-speech advocate.^{[citation needed]}

The executive director is Ann Fagan Ginger.^{[citation needed]}
