Mehmet Tanrısever

Mehmet Tanrısever was born in 1953 in Konya. Even though he is orjinally an industrialist by profession, he became producer in 1989 by esyablishing Feza Film, due to his love for cinema. When the first film he produced broke box-office records, he was driven to drecting. His debut as director, The Exile, which he completed in 1992, was selected the 'Second Best Film' in the 45th International Salerno Film Festival and received the . Later it was also selected the 'Secon Best Film' and won the 'Silver Phoenix' awawrd in the 11th Tashkent International Film Festival held in capital of Uzbekhistan. He was also selected the 'Best Director Making Debut', in same event.
