Meghan Toohey (born in 1976 in Chelmsford, Massachusetts) is a folk-rock singer/songwriter. In 1999, she moved to Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts and started putting together the Meghan Toohey Experience, a four-piece band. During 2000, she and the band toured in the UK with The Saw Doctors. She has toured as a guitarist for Lori McKenna and bassist for Jess Klein. In 2003, she formed another band, the So and Sos, which leaned more towards the "rock" side of folk-rock than her previous work.
