Megan Roach was one of the original characters in the BBC drama Casualty. Megan was played by Brenda Fricker. She enjoyed a memorable five year stint in the programme during which time she was held hostage, divorced her husband and watched one of her colleagues and friends die.

Following Brenda Fricker's successful role in My Left Foot Megan left the series to return to her native Ireland. In series 12 she returned for the wedding of two other original characters Charlie Fairhead and Barbara Wilder.
