[edit] Summary

In Bubble Man's level, there are robots in the underwater section of the stage that bear an identifiable, but still distant, resemblance to Metroids, with three fangs on the bottom and a clear dome encasing robotic components that look somewhat like a Metroid's nuclei. Wether this is a quasi-hidden tribute by Capcom to Nintendo, a conicidence, or some other possibility is unknown.
