[edit] Ronline

talk|contributions

I'm really interested in becoming a mediator since I've done mediation at Wikipedia so far in a number of cases. Some examples include Talk:Moldovan language and the problems with User:86.105.71.34 (see 1, 2). Outside of en.wiki, I've been involved in coming to an agreement at the highly-controversial Moldovan Wikipedia (see here). I'm a firm believer in mediation and justice in general. One of my most important goals as a potential mediator is to fully listen to both sides and attempt to make both of them engage in constructive dialogue and feel empathy, since I believe that the most apt accelerant of conflict is misunderstanding, isolation and alienation. Thanks, Ronline 09:43, 20 December 2005 (UTC)

Mediation Committee:

  • Neutral, though leaning toward support. Seeing as the Moldovan link you gave above is extremely verbose and in multiple languages, I'd like, in your own words, a summary of the problem, what you tried to do to correct it, and the final agreement. Ral315 (talk) 15:53, 24 December 2005 (UTC)
  • Neutral I'm afraid I haven't come across Ronline before now, and I haven't enough evidence to push me either way. [[Sam Korn]] 13:54, 28 December 2005 (UTC)

    • Note: most of these users probably came across this page because of a link at the Romanian Wikipedians' notice board. This is not to invalidate their votes, but just to mention why many people not usually frequenting this page have voted here. [[Sam Korn]] 16:27, 2 January 2006 (UTC)
