[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Storm Rider (talk) 07:32, 17 November 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the issue taking place?
- ...Mountain Meadows massacre
- What's going on?
- ...The main conflicts are issues of POV; editorializing. It is most easily demonstrated in the insistence of some on the term "kidnapping" in describing the actions of the perpetrators of the massacre regarding the 17 survivors under the age of six. This editorialzing, without providing references that have been requested, is typical of the other issues.
- What would you like to change about that?
- ...It would be helpful to come to a point where all editors understand the meaning of WP:NPOV and limit language in the article to stating facts without any spinning one way or another. This would be evidenced in no further reverting of the same edits over and over.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- ...No, I think it best to work in the open.
