[edit] Request Information
- Request made by: Alofferman
- Where is the issue taking place?
- Darth Vader wiki page.
- Who's involved?
- Alofferman and A Man In Black
- What's going on?
- I edited the caption of a picture under the section "A New Hope". It now reads "In A New Hope, Vader leads a unit of Stormtroopers in a boarding action on the Tantive IV." My dispute with that is I edited "a unit of Stormtroopers" to say "the [501st Legion (Star Wars)|501st]". The user User:A Man In Black keeps changing it back citing that the 501st is only referenced in one video game and never the movie. My problems with that is that the name of the ship, "Tantive IV" is never referenced in the movie either. He's being hypocritical of what can go in there by applying his rule to only the thing I want to edit. It should either say "In A New Hope, Vader leads a unit of Stormtroopers in a boarding action on a ship." or "In A New Hope, Vader leads a the 501st in a boarding action on the Tantive IV."
- What would you like to change about that?
- I'd like this is be changed without A Man In Black going back and editing it like it's his article to say and do with as he pleases.
- Would you prefer we work discreetly? If so, how can we reach you?
- I don't mind how you work, whatever's easiest. If you wish to contact me you may do so at alofferman at gmail dot com.
