I began the article for Revel Craft and noted that it was a work in progress. I received notice that my article might be deleted. I posted the required {{holdon}} note in the article to delay deletion. IceKarma deleted the article and totally disregarded my request to delay not even an hour after I had posted it. IceKarma was also very rude and insulted me by stating I was 'some garageband' He was also very unhelpfull and I feel he is abusing his power as a Wiki editor.

This is technically not a case we can help with.I will therefore close the case. To appeal a deletion go to deletion Review on the Admin Noticeboard. You may need an advocate. Geo. 20:12, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
- The instructions above seem a bit confusing, so I will clarify. You'll want to go to Wikipedia:Deletion Review to appeal the deletion of the article, and if you wish to get another administrator's view on IceKarma, I actually wouldn't recommend bringing it directly to the administrator's noticeboard as that might just end up as a bunch of name-calling back and forth. It may be a good idea to ask IceKarma calmly about his reasoning for the page deletion, and if you still have a problem with the way he handled things you may want to privately ask another administrator's view on the matter. A public campaign to display an administrator's possibly improper actions would not really help anyone, of course. Thanks. Cowman109Talk 20:56, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

While using the talk page of the article in question to solve a dispute is encouraged to involve a larger audience, feel free to discuss the case below if that is not possible. Other mediators are also encouraged to join in on the discussion as Wikipedia is based on consensus.
Hi Spherehead, I am not sure what you are requesting here. I can find no log of the page being created or deleted by yourself or IceKarma. All I can see (for your edits at least) is the uploading of an image for Revel Craft and the blanking of IceKarma's user page.
I also don't see any discussion betrween the two of you - especially where he has been uncivil.
Sorry if i have missed something here but i am a bit confused as to what you are looking for.
In any case if you create the article it nmay be suggested for deletion anyway, Wikipedia gets alot of band related articles and of course only the most notable, famous or important can be kept - I have no idea who Revel Craft are but if they dont meet the requirements at WP:Notability then you might want to reconsider posting the article.
