[edit] Request for cabal mediation

[edit] Request Information

Request made by: Ted 18:36, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Where is the issue taking place?
Mysticism
Who's involved?
user:Sam Spade
Ted
What's going on?
Sam Spade has been insisting on problematical without discussion. he refuses to listen to reason, offers no arguments of his own, and continues to make changes over my protests. it has become a pure edit war over, and I see no hope of resolving this issue ourselves, given his resistance to communication.
What would you like to change about that?
I would like it if
  1. he would discuss the few minor disagreements rather than simply reverting things
  2. if he would not be so insistant on his own religious POV, but rather listen and respond to counter arguments
i.e. if he would simply communicate and try to reach consesus, rather than impose his perspective
If you'd prefer we work discreetly, how can we reach you?
discretion is not necessary on my side, but you can reach me through my talk page. Ted 18:44, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Would you be willing to mediate yourself and accept an assignment as a mediator?
Yes.  :-)

Hi! I've been talking about stuff, as evidenced here and here and here. It doesn't seemed to have helped alot tho, and I think mediation might... Sam Spade 19:03, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

sorry, not sure if crosstalk is acceptable here, but your 'communication' involves an occasional statement of what you're going to do with no response to requests for clarification. not too helpful for problem solving...  ;-) Ted 22:03, 1 March 2006 (UTC)

I think thats pretty clearly inaccurate, and agree with your request for an outside third parties involvement. Sam Spade 12:55, 2 March 2006 (UTC)
