Medusa is a steel roller coaster located at Six Flags Marine World in Vallejo, California.
Built by the famed coaster designers Bolliger & Mabillard, it is known as Medusa West because there are two other roller coasters named "Medusa": Medusa East at Six Flags Great Adventure and Medusa South at Six Flags Mexico. Medusa at Six Flags Great Adventure was the world's first floorless roller coaster, having debuted in 1999. Medusa has seven inversions:
- Vertical loop
- Diving Loop
- Zero G roll
- On Medusa East, Cobra Roll. On Medusa West, Sea Serpent Roll. Both are one element containing two inversions.
- 2 corkscrews after the mid-course brake run
The roller coaster track colors are purple and lime green.
