Talk:Mechanix Illustrated
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
As a child during the 60's, I recall reading with great interest my father's Mechanix Illustrated issues every month. Recently while looking at a mess in one of my closets in my home, I immediately recalled the phrase, "M.I.G.H.T.A!", the acronym for Mechanix Illustrated Guy Has The Answer. A common problem for the harried homeowner is solved when the male figure looks at the problem and comes up with a solution to the problem. The only word ballon in the cartoon would have this figure shouting, "M.I.G.H.T.A". This cartoon would be similar to the Wordless Workshops of the cartoonist, Roy Doty of which a sample panel is shown on his personal website [[1]]. Opusnugen 03:43, 28 August 2006 (UTC)
