[edit] Middle East Airlines

Visit the corporate section of MEA's website, and everything there says Middle East Airlines, Air Liban. While the common name of the airline is Middle East Airlines (or just MEA), the specification of the infobox calls for the full legal name. I will wait for your response before I change it back. Dbinder 19:20, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

The IATA and basically every single publication says the full name is Middle East Airlines Air Liban (with or without the comma). However, I really don't feel like arguing about this. Dbinder 23:27, 20 January 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arab League template

Hi, I noticed that you just added {{Arab League}} to the base of each member country. I'm sorry for reverting an effort that must have taken some time, but such templates on country articles have been deprecated for some time, after lengthy discussions at Wikipedia:Wikiproject Countries. Since most countries belong to at least a half dozen international organizations, which creates quite a mess at the bottom of articles when a box is added for each. Another option is a customized international ties template replacing both the geographical and organization boxes, such as is in use on United Kingdom. - SimonP 03:51, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Those template don't belong either, I've removed a couple of them. - SimonP 04:22, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:BeirutAirport.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. [edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:Tmacargo.gif)

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Tmacargo.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Admrb♉ltz (T | C) 03:07, 3 March 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image Tagging Image:TMA.gif

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:TMA.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. [edit] Hello

Hi, It's John here, thanks for visiting the Jieh page on Wikipedia. I am not so sure about the amount of international traffic that the Jieh port can hold. It has the capability of holding a large oil and fuel tanker that may come from other countries to cater for the electricity plant and the gas station on the Jieh southern rim. For successful international traffic, the harbour should be much bigger, and so the Jieh port can only really sustain 1 or 2 major tankers at any one time. Much of the traffic is via smaller ships used locally and mainly for the plants, although I could be mistaken. I have only ever seen 1 large tanker in the harbour at any one time anyway, and even that just once every few weeks. It extrudes the oil through underground pipes in the seabed as it sits in the middle of the harbour. I can add a small section on that, but I need sources on the internet for it, and not much is written on that. I can't use my own knowledge. Thanks anyway! What is your profession? Do you work for MEA-AirLiban ? (Prince Cadmus II 23:30, 16 March 2006 (UTC))

[edit] Image Tagging for Image:MEA.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:MEA.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Bdl.jpg

Warning sign This file may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Bdl.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. [edit] Hello

Hello, I found your username through the profile of Nejmeh Square's pic you uploaded. I just thought of passing by to ask if you're good in Arabic. You see, there are a few pages that need to be expanded, and a lot that need to be created. If you're good in Arabic, you might like to create an account thru Wikipedia Arabic and visit the request page:

http://ar.wikipedia.org/wiki/%D9%88%D9%8A%D9%83%D9%8A%D8%A8%D9%8A%D8%AF%D9%8A%D8%A7:%D9%85%D9%82%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA_%D9%85%D9%82%D8%AA%D8%B1%D8%AD%D8%A9

And by the way, it looks like you're having trouble understanding the copyright terms. Listen, the licensing drop-down menu does not have all the options that are required at some cases. If you need any advice, contact me. - Qasamaan (Talk) 06:48, 1 December, 2006 (UTC)
