Meadow Vista is a census-designated place (CDP) in Placer County, California, United States. The population was 3,096 at the 2000 census.

Meadow Vista is located at GR1.
(39.003795, -121.029242)According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 14.4 km² (5.6 mi²). 13.9 km² (5.4 mi²) of it is land and 0.5 km² (0.2 mi²) of it (3.59%) is water.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 3,096 people, 1,140 households, and 918 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 222.6/km² (576.5/mi²). There were 1,175 housing units at an average density of 84.5/km² (218.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 96.25% White, 0.06% African American, 0.81% Native American, 0.39% Asian, 0.19% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 2.03% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.62% of the population.
There were 1,140 households out of which 33.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.9% were married couples living together, 8.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.4% were non-families. 15.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 7.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.72 and the average family size was 2.99.
In the CDP the population was spread out with 25.5% under the age of 18, 4.5% from 18 to 24, 24.1% from 25 to 44, 29.8% from 45 to 64, and 16.1% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 43 years. For every 100 females there were 99.0 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.8 males.
The median income for a household in the CDP was $59,980, and the median income for a family was $65,474. Males had a median income of $55,132 versus $28,682 for females. The per capita income for the CDP was $27,504. None of the families and 1.5% of the population were living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and none of those over 64.
