The Meadow Anemone (Pulsatilla pratensis) is a species of the genus Pulsatilla. This plant is known to be slightly toxic, but can be dissipated through heat or drying. It flowers from May to June. The flowers are hermaphrodite, or have charcteristics of both male and female, and are pollinated by bees.
It has medicinal uses, and can be used externally to cure ulcers and inflammations in the eyes. It is especially useful in the treatment of children and infants.
