[edit] Bat Ye'or

Hi Mdinowtz. You left this message on my talk page:

Bat Ye'or is not a reliable historical source when it comes to saying Maimonides had converted. Every historical document that talks about this says that he and his family fled Cordoba. The wikipedia entry for him says this. Keeping information in an entry that is incorrect because there is a source for it is not reason enough to keep it if the source is incorrect. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Mdinowitz (talkcontribs) 21:39, February 22, 2006 (UTC)

However I think you have me mixed up with someone else. Looking at your recent contributions and based on your message above It looks like you are talking about the article Dhimmi. My only edit to that article was to revert a bit of vandalism. I think you may have meant your message for Pecher. Regards Paul August 23:15, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Michael dinowitz

Hello! I've put a speedy deletion tag on Michael dinowitz, which you created. You may want to have a look at WP:BAI and WP:V. --Lijnema 21:22, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

I placed the entry up as a 'stub' so others can fill in the information. I find that a number of the 'big names' in the ColdFusion community are missing even though they are referenced in other articles. Jeremy Allaire and Ben Forta being two. If the rule is to not start the post yourself, then I'll have someone else from the ColdFusion community start and edit mine while I handle the others. I assume this is ok? I don't know if you would be considered notable enough, but if you are, then yeah, as the guidelines say "If your achievements, etc., are verifiable and genuinely notable, and thus suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later." Oh, and if you plan on writing about others, remember WP:NOR. --Lijnema 21:40, 10 November 2006 (UTC)

Well, I've been written up in the forward of books as the "father of the ColdFusion community" so I may well be notable. :) I assume that if someone is noted in another wikipedia post then they're notable enough to warrent their own entry? In particular Jeremy and JJ Allaire (from the ColdFusion entry) and Ben Forta (who I now see has his own entry).Mdinowitz 04:21, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
