MCX connector

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

MCX connectors are coaxial RF connectors developed in the 1980s. They have the same inner contact and insulator dimensions as the SMB connector but are 30% smaller.

They use a snap-on interface and usually have a 50Ω impedance. They offer broadband capability from DC to 6 GHz.

These connectors not the same as MC Card connectors, which are smaller and often used to fit on a PC card (PCMCIA/CardBus) in laptops.

MCX Male to MCX Female are standards used for antenna extension.
