McGillicuddy Highland Army (McGHA) vs. Alf's Imperial Army (Alf's) in Hamilton, Easter 1989.
This was the Chocolate Fish campaign, with a catch cry of 'Paisley—The Choice of a New Generation'.
On the left, in green kilts, are members of the McGHA's 3rd Laird's Own Borderers Rgt whilst the redcoats are from Alf's 2nd Duke of Wellington's Own (Boots) Rgt.
The McGHA colours can be seen in the top left, and those of the Boots Rgt on the right.
Dust from a flour bomb can be seen at the left, and a flour bomb recently lobbed in the middle background.
