The Mbielu-Mbielu-Mbielu is a supposed living dinosaur. It is apparently herbivorous, non-violent and inhabits Africa.[citation needed] A few claimed sightings have been reported, most of which were collected by the cryptozoologist Roy P Mackal,[citation needed] but no evidence for the creature has been uncovered.

It is described as "the animal with planks growing out of its back" - which may suggest one of the Stegosauridae.

Although Cryptozoology.net posits that it may be the same creature as the Nguma-monene, also of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, this is hard to square with Jerome Clark's description of the latter beast being "serpentlike" and semi-aquatic.
