[edit] Liverpool F.C.

Hello Mazito and welcome to Wikipedia. I have reverted your entry to Liverpool F.C. as information introduced into articles must be verifiable from reliable sources, and conform to a neutral point of view. If you have a source, please site it in the article. If you need any help, please let me know and I will do what I can. Thanks. -- Alias Flood 03:15, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with the page September 25 on Wikipedia. Your test worked, and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Fabricationary 03:18, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Hey Mazito. I admire your effort, I really do, but could you please stop putting the entire history of LFC back into the Liverpool F.C. article? There is a separate article History of Liverpool Football Club for all of that, cheers, aLii 22:12, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please answer your messages

It's rude to ignore article talk pages and even worse your user talk, cheers, aLii 22:52, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

  • p.s. I'm going to report you for a WP:3RR violation if you do it again without first discussing. aLii 22:54, 13 July 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Discuss your edits

Given the wholesale nature of your edits, you should enter discussions on the talk:Liverpool F.C. page before making any major edits in the future. E.g. when you say "the rest of the part of the 'honours', that should stay the same (in my [great] way)", what you should really do is start a discussion on the talk page saying why you think the section should be changed to a specific format. As it stands the Liverpool F.C.#Honours section was perfectly good (better in my eyes) before your edit, so I'm going to carry on reverting your edit until a discussion is had.

Also a lot of your various small edits, like changing "Premier League, 3rd" to "FA Premier League, 3rd" in the infobox are also unneeded, and generally thought to be bad edits. See Arsenal F.C. as an example of what the Liverpool page should eventually be like. There is a lot of work to do, and if you dedicated your time instead to writing a "Colours" or "Badge" section it'd be much better for the page. Cheers, aLii 09:16, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

I have reverted your entry to Liverpool F.C. for the same reasons given above and as stated on that article's talk page. Please enter into discussion there before adding instructions which are against the spirit of Wikipedia. Please also bear in mind that entries should have a neutral point of view (re your entry of "dubious penalty"). Thanks. -- Alias Flood 04:19, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
Rather than finding your edits to Liverpool F.C. reverted by myself and other editors, please discuss them on that article's talk page. Wikipedia is all about consensus. Thanks. -- Alias Flood 03:20, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Please do not revert again or you will be in breach of the WP:3RR rule for which you may be blocked from editing. -- Alias Flood 03:23, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Please everyone understand that when I change it, it gets better! I know it's just an opinion, but it's a very good one, and I'm sure you would think like that also. And there's only slight differences from the one you lot keep putting it back to, but my ones are correct, and in my great view, better....
User:Mazito 04:23, 11 August 2006 (BST/GMT+1)
Wikipedia does not work that way. It works according to Wikipedia:Consensus. Please discuss matters on the article's talk pages and try to reach that consensus. Thanks -- Alias Flood 03:30, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
I kinda' do. Well it's very late, and (although very unfairly) I'm not allowed on my computer right now, so in the near future I will make a massive discussion over it, and get it right. I know Wikipedia doesn't work like that, but I'm tryna' make it perfect here, and you other users should understand this! I am a great LFC fan, and I want the page for them to be perfect, and get a star like Arsenal FC has! And I don't get it, no matter what way it is outta' mine and the other one, it's well better than Arsenal FC's! Can someone try and apply for it, or however you're meant to go about it, can someone do that please, for the good of this great article (of Liverpool FC). Gracias, adiós....
User:Mazito 04:34, 11 August 2006 (BST/GMT+1)
I am glad to see from your above comment that you will enter into discussion over these edits and other matters. Thank you for that. Please note that information in a player's infobox should show appearances and goals for only domestic leagues (as written at the bottom of the box). I have amended your edit to Steven Gerrard to reflect this. -- Alias Flood 03:46, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
Ok, well I don't really see the point in that, or it should still have at least the total amount of first team appearances (and goals) for LFC also. That's kind of pathetic not having the total, but at least now I realise why it's like that, instead of thinking that on such a major article, it has a massive and bad mistake like that. If it says it, I'm a lot surprised that I missed it like... -- User:Mazito 03:46, 14 August 2006 (BST/GMT+1)

[edit] License tagging for Image:SOR-2449.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:SOR-2449.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. [edit] The Naked Brothers Band

Thanks for making a page for the The Naked Brothers Band, I was just about make one for them but you beat me to it. In the article I also mentioned that they are going to have a show on Nickelodeon in January. So will try to develop more information on them as they the show's premiere date approaches. Quasyboy 1:19, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

That's pretty interesting. Quasyboy 14:19, 2 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Your edits to Veronica Afflerbach

Please do not make references to yourself directly on the article. Use its talk page instead. Thank you.--Húsönd 00:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

There are many problems with your version of the article. For one thing, we don't need to know she's 14. People know how to do the math. We don't need to be told she was born on a Saturday. That is not notable. Her friendship with another actor is not notable. We all know the state of New Jersey is in the USA. Fix all of that and I will stop changing it. May I also inform you that you are very close to violating the 3RR rule. Fighting for Justice 21:06, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Fine keep the USA portion, but the friendship reference has to go! Unless you can say something notable about their friendship it can not be in the article. Being friends with somebody is not a big deal. The Saturday and 14 year old reference has to go as well. Nothing notable in those statements. Fighting for Justice 21:27, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Do you see any article about this actor James Stankunas? Since there is none no one cares about their friendship. As far as I know, wikipedia articles can not mention friendships unless there is something notable about the friendship. It isn't so much about the two people, but the friendship itself. Like, for example, it would be ok if they were friends who later became engaged or married. Of course you would have to provide a reference to confirm this. My comment about violating NPOV was made because you made a self-reference in the article. But I applaud you for later removing it. Fighting for Justice 21:47, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
I will be reporting you for violating the 3RR rule. You asked for it. Fighting for Justice 22:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
If indeed you are a good wikipedia editor then you would know the rules and not violate them. Clearly you did violate one of them today. You are not to revert an article for more then 3 times in a 24 hour period. This rule applies even to administrators. You should have known better! Fighting for Justice 23:00, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Rules are rules and they are to be obeyed. If you can not do that than wikipedia isn't an appropriate place for you. As far as the Veronica Afflerbach is concern I was merely trying to get the article to conform to wikipedia rules. The way you first wrote it appeared like a fan article. I was trying to make it into an encyclopedia article. You said you were willing to remove the Saturday and 14 year old references and yet you put them back. I don't appreciate you making promises that you can't keep. Fighting for Justice 23:11, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Actually didn't we also settle that you would remove the Saturday and 14 year old reference as well? Wikipedia does not have to please Veronica even in an article about her. So long as the information is accurate and verifiable she can't do squat about it. In other words, nothing illegal or inflammatory should be in the article. Fighting for Justice 23:31, 6 November 2006 (UTC)
Well, make an article about James Stankunas. That way you can mention their friendship. Without an article about him people won't know anything about him or the extend of his fame. Without an article about him he looks unimportant. But should you make an article on him make it sound professional and not like a fan piece. Good luck! Please don't readd copyright violations (like the complete text of newspaper or magazine articles) to the article. It is considered a form of vandalism. Please read Wikipedia:Copyright and related pages. Fram 06:06, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
