[edit] The Count Of Monte Cristo Decription
In the book Mazzolato is described as a horrible form of punishment. The condemned man is first hit in the head with a mace* and rolled onto his back. The executioner then slices the throat of the condemned person open and starts to walk over his stomach kneading it with his feet. Allowing all of the blood and body fluids to spurt or gush out of the throat.
- A strong, heavy wooden, metal-reinforced, or metal shaft, with a head made of stone, copper, bronze, iron or steel. The head is normally about or slightly thicker than the diameter of the shaft, shaped with flanges, knobs or spikes to allow greater penetration. (Wikipedia definition)
Thanks for your addition to the page but is this from a source other than The Count of Monte Cristo, eitherway can you state your source on the page? --Andy-106 11:10, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
