Mayookham is a 2005 release Malayalam film starring Saiju Kurup and Mamta Mohandas in lead.The film is directed by Hariharan.

Unni Kesavan (Saiju) and Indira (Mamta) are childhood friends. Indira goes to US with her father (Saikumar) a doctor and come back after many years to their family house. She meets Unni and is shocked to see him as a rebel. She tries to help him by supporting and giving him a new lease of life and slowly love blossoms between the two.Indira become the light in Unni’s life and she motivates him to turn responsible but fate plays dirty as Indira is a terminal patient and she goes back for treatment! In fact the film is a musical with some melodious songs tuned by Hariharan’s favourite music director Bombay Ravi. But again all the songs have a hang-over of Nakhashathangal! The lead pair of Saiju and Mamta are promising, having done their roles adequately. The old timers Jagathy, Sai Kumar and Sujatha are as usual efficient.
