Maykopsky District

Maykopsky District (Russian: Майко́пский райо́н; Adyghe: Мыекъуапэ район) is one of the seven districts of the Republic of Adygea, Russia. The area of the district is 3,730 km²[citation needed]. Its administrative center is the urban-type settlement of Tulsky. District's population: 58,485 (2002 Census); 58,593 (1989 Census). Population of Tulsky accounts for 18.0% of the district's population.
