Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP, is a large law firm headquartered in Chicago with offices in the United States and Europe. It was formed by the combination of the U.S. law firm Mayer, Brown & Platt and the UK law firm Rowe & Maw.
With more than 1,400 attorneys in seven U.S. and six European cities, Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP is one of the largest law practices in the world. This 2002 combination of two of the leading law firms in the U.S. and UK has been described by Legal Week as "The most successful transatlantic merger to date." Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw serves clients on both sides of the Atlantic, including 65 of the Fortune 100 companies, most of the FTSE 100, and one out of every three U.S. banks. They offer consulting offices in Beijing and Shanghai, as well as an independent correspondent relationship with Jáuregui, Navarrete y Nader, S.C., one of Mexico City's most respected law firms, and Studio Legale Tonucci (Italy).
Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw is a combination of two limited liability partnerships, each named Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP, one established in Illinois, USA, and one incorporated in England.

In November 2006, Mayer Brown announced its expansion into Hong Kong, and expects its office there to be fully operational by the first quarter of 2007.
