Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff

Maya Kaathryn Bohnhoff (born 1954) is an author, best known for her science fiction and fantasy works. She also writes nonfiction and music, specifically filk, which she also performs. Maya, mother of two and married since 1981(both true at least as of 2001)[1], has also written many short stories and novelettes, some of them with a significant basis in relation to the Bahá'í Faith, in most of the well known publishing magazines: Analog Magazine, Interzone (magazine), Amazing Stories, Realms of Fantasy, and others. Two brief examples include "Home is Where..."[2] time traveling historian from the future investigating the world before the religion was the norm, and "The White Dog" wherein a lady whose shocking albino appearance is eventually warmly loved in accordance with the special relationship pointed out by `Abdu'l-Bahá for a little white dog.[3]
