Maxine Jones
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Maxine Jones (born January 16, 1965 in Paterson, New Jersey) was one of the original members of the R&B singing group En Vogue. She left the group in 2001 to spend time with her daughter Jessica. Although she declined an offer to rejoin the group permanently, she did fill in for Cindy Herron on the group's 2003 European tour.
Jones has a wide vocal range, making her quite versatile within the group. She is described by the other group members as the stylish one, having worked as a hairdresser before joining En Vogue. In addition to singing, Jones and her sisters have an online e-commerce business. Jones rejoined En Vogue in 2003 and is currently touring nationally and recording the group sixth LP.
