A TV series that ran in August and September 1998 on ABC TV.
The show was based on Elmore Leonard's 1991 novel with the same title. It was a slightly odd series that centered around a ultra right-wing conservative judge known for giving the maximum sentence towards defendants. Other characters included the Judge's psychic wife who communicates with the spirit of a small girl, the sheriff who is a widower involved in ballroom dancing and a spitfire public defender from Miami.
