Maxime Vachier-Lagrave

Maxime Vachier-Lagrave (b. 1990) of France, is one of the youngest chess grandmasters in history. He completed his final grandmaster (GM) norm at age 14 years, 4 months, in 2005. His rating on October 2006 was 2579, making him the 8th best player in the country.
