Max von Gruber

Max von Gruber (July 6, 1853 – September 16, 1927) was an Austrian scientist.
As a bacteriologist he discovered specific agglutination in 1896 with his colleague Herbert Edward Durham (Gruber-Widal-reaction). But his main interests where studying the hygiene and the sexual life.
