Max Wyndham, 2nd Baron Egremont

John Max Henry Scawen Wyndham, 7th Baron Leconfield and 2nd Baron Egremont (born 1948), generally known simply as Max Egremont, is a British biographer and novelist.
Lord Egremont lives at Petworth House in Sussex. He inherited the baronies of Egremont and Leconfield in 1972. He has written books about Wilfrid Scawen Blunt, Arthur Balfour and Sir Edward Spears. He is also the official biographer of Siegfried Sassoon, appointed by Sassoon's son George.
