Maurice Foley (politician)

Maurice Anthony Foley (9 October 1925 - 8 February 2002) was a British Labour politician. He was Member of Parliament for West Bromwich from a 1963 by-election until his resignation in 1973. His successor in the resulting by-election was the future Speaker of the House of Commons, Betty Boothroyd. From 1967 to 1968, Foley was Under-Secretary of State for the Navy.
