Pierre du Calvet (born in Caussade in 1735 - perished at sea on March 28, 1786) Quebec trader, judge, political prisonner et lampoonist of French origin.

Born in the summer of 1735 in Caussade in the former French province of Guyenne (today the Tarn-et-Garonne département) of a calvinist family. He was the oldest one in a family of five children.
