The height of Mexican mountains varies quite a bit depending on the source of the information. It seems pretty clear that the Sierra Negra is higher than Matlalcueitl, however, which would make it sixth-highest at most (Pico de Orizaba, Popo, Ixta, Sierra N?/ Nevado de Toluca?, Matlalcueitl. The fact that the Sierra Negra isn't mentioned at all on most lists would give Matlalcueitl 5th place on those lists. --Lavintzin 03:02, 30 September 2005 (UTC)
