[edit] Advetsiement tag
I have restored the ad tag because it still reads like an advertisement. The copy is littered with words like "visionary", "innovation", and "outstanding" and because of the PR-speak I can't really make out what the company does. -- Merope 15:52, 23 August 2006 (UTC)
- Merope, This page is NOT intended like an advertisement, nor does it sound like one. I visited this library with an educational program, and I was shocked that this was not included as part of Wikipedia. The article clearly explains what the place does, it is a materials library and consulting firm. If I explain it in too much further depth it will sound like an advertisement. Wikipedia includes many pages that are quite frankly, advertisements. I, as an upcoming (hopefully) designer find that this is a place that should be included in the encyclopedia of knowledge. They have done major projects for Nike and Aveda, and I think it is extremely relevant. Yet I have changed the article twice and you still consider it an ad. I will go back in and try to elaborate on some more of the specifics of what they do, and I will also add on information about a really interesting exhibition they did in collaboration with the Phillipines Government.

[edit] Not an ad!
First of all again it is not an ad, the reason I added links to this page is because I felt that it was relevant to those topics given the services rpovided by theis place. I am not adding any more links, because I feel that the necessary ones were there already. Please stop being obnoxious and look at the 100's of pages that actually ARE ads on wikipedia, and all the pages that are incredibly biased.
- This is a courtesy message to let you know that I am re-restoring the the "advertisement" tag. While I understand your reluctance to have this tag remain on the article, I hope that you understand that given your brief history of editing Wikipedia (and the fact that all of your edits made under your DesignGuru login as well as your 67.94.180.170 have been almost exclusively connected to Material ConneXion) that there may be some reluctance about letting the article as it exists right now stand. The tag merely states that the article currently "reads like an advertisement", and it allows for other editors to check the article and make sure that it meets Wikipedia standards. If other editors check the article, and it is indeed good enough to have the tag removed, then it shall be in due course. As far as "being obnoxious" is concerned, please assume good faith and refrain from personal attacks. And while there may be other articles that appear biased, this cannot be used as a defense for this particular article. --Avogadro 18:33, 25 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Bolding
Thank you for removing the bolding, I was told by a friend that it was necessary in order to be searched. Apparently it is not.

[edit] removal of the ad tag
Hi, I came across this article when searching for the website of a service I received information about. I removed the ad tag, because I received a direct mailer, and it does not compare whatsoever to the tone of advertising you seem to be discussing. Their advertising in the brochure is completely different, so I thought it didn;t make sense as an ad
