Matzo farfel granola

Matzo farfel granola is a Ashkanazi Jewish breakfast eaten during the festival of Pesach. It is made by crunching up a piece of matzo into a mug or bowl, adding coffee (or a milkshake) and then draining most of it out leaving cereal sized pieces of matzo. It is also referred to as 'Matzo mush mush'

This dish was created and eaten in wartime West Europe and Yiddish speaking countries, and spread to America in the 50's after the assimilation.
