Matthew Wolfenden is an English actor. He recently made his debut in ITV's Emmerdale playing David Metcalfe, the secret son of Eric Pollard. Matthew has also appeared in Hollyoaks: Let Loose, the spin-off to Hollyoaks. He is a former Gymnast. He originally auditioned for the role of Eli Dingle but lost out to Joseph Gilgun, but he was called back for the role of David Metcalfe.
