Matthew Cameron

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Matthew Cameron is an American classical pianist.

He studied with eminent American pianist Agustin Anievas, and later with respected Russian pedagogue Efrem Briskin. His musical talent became evident at the age of three, when he was already imitating pieces on the piano with great accuracy.

His acclaimed solo-piano transcriptions, which include among others Mozart's Eine kleine Nachtmusik, and Liszt's Les Preludes, have been published by International Music Company, and performed and recorded throughout the world by himself and other renowned artists. Although possessing a large repertoire, he has a strong affinity for the romantic literature, having performed numerous all-Liszt and all-Chopin recitals.

He is currently residing in New York City.
