Mattador
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mattador was a Puerto Rican heavy metal band formed in the 80's. The band enjoyed critical success in USA and Japan, but was a commercial failure. It managed to release only one album called Save Us From Ourselves. The band finally disbanded in the early 90's.
As of 2006, two of the original members (Leo Alvarez and Carlos Benítez) have reunited the band with a new line-up, and have plans to release new music sometime soon.
