Matt White (baseball player)

Matthew Joseph White (born August 19, 1977 in Pittsfield, Massachusetts) is a retired Major League baseball pitcher. He played no games in 2006.

He attended Clemson University and was drafted in the 15th round in 1998 by Cleveland Currently plays as #47 Pitcher, for the Philadelphia Phillies

White received a $10.2 million signing bonus in 1996. Shoulder and back injuries limited White to 122 minor league games during his career.
