Matt Stiles

Matthew Bradley Stiles (May 11, 1976) is a political reporter at the Houston Chronicle. His focus is Houston City Hall. Stiles is a graduate of The University of Texas at Arlington, where he was editor-in-chief of the student daily, The Shorthorn. Stiles joined the Chronicle from The Dallas Morning News in May of 2005. In Dallas, he covered federal courts and law enforcement, 2003 Texas redistricting battles, and broke several stories in the Baylor University basketball scandal.
