Matt, a native of the Pittsburgh suburb of Mt. Lebanon, graduated from Pennsylvania State University in 1999, where he majored in speech communications. Later Matt went to law school at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, but dropped out. He has since expressed ambitions to get involved in entertainment.
Gould's plaintive cry, "What is going on?," has became a popular catch phrase.
Matt's winnings: He won a spa vacation, a trip to Tahiti, a flat-screen TV and $100,000. He has since appeared in 10 Things Every Guy Should Experience and Joe Schmo 2.
Gould says he had no regrets about signing onto the show.Well, I thought I was on the weirdest reality show in history of mankind. I thought, this show is going to be a flop. You have naked women, but there's nothing going on. ... I had all the pieces to the puzzle, I just didn't have the picture on the back. You just chalk everything up to the oddities of reality television. |
