Matt Goode

Matt Goode (b 1978) is a former team member of Coventry R.F.C.. He is the elder brother of England rugby player Andy Goode.

Goode was born in Coventry and was educated at King Henry VIII School in Coventry. He was keen at sport at school and he represented Warwickshire Schools at both Rugby and Cricket. He also represented the Midlands and England Schools at rugby, captaining his brother at Warwickshire Schools U18, and playing alongside him for England Schools in 1997. Goode signed for Coventry R.F.C. in 1997, and left when the club suffered financial difficulty in 1998.

Goode attended the University of Bristol and now works as an investment banker in the City of London.
