Matt Elich (born September 22, 1978, in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, USA) is an American professional ice hockey winger. He was drafted in the third round, 61st overall, by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. In the 2005-06 season, he played in the United Hockey League for the Roanoke Valley Vipers and the Flint Generals.

Drafted from the Ontario Hockey League's Windsor Spitfires, Elich made his National Hockey League debut with the Lightning during the 1999-2000 season, appearing in eight games and scoring one goal. He appeared in eight more games for the Lightning during the 2000-01 season. To date, he has no further NHL experience.

He is currently playing for Slovenia's HK Acroni Jesenice on tryout.
