Matt D'Orazio

Matthew Louis D’Orazio (born October 1, 1976 in Elyria, Ohio) is an arena football quarterback who plays for the Chicago Rush in the Arena Football League.

D'Orazio attended Saint Francis DeSales High School in Columbus, ohio, and was a letterman in football and basketball. In football, he won All-State honors, and in basketball, he won All-Conference honors. Matthew D'Orazio graduated from Saint Frances DeSales High School in 1995.

He holds school season and career records for passing yards, touchdown passes and total offense at Otterbein College. While a player for Otterbein, he passed for 8,770 yards and 73 touchdowns while rushing for 594 yards and 5 touchdowns during his career.

He made his debut playing for the Buffalo Destroyers and Milwaukee Mustangs in the AFL and the Rochester Brigade in the af2. In 2006, after playing for the Columbus Destroyers for three seasons, was signed as a free agent by the Chicago Rush. At the end of the 2006 season, he lead the league as the top-rated passer (126.2), and the top rusher with 200 yards and 10 touchdowns. In ArenaBowl XX, D'Orazio threw for 250 yards and six touchdowns, as well as rushing for two. His actions in the game lead him to win Offensive Player of the Game
