Matt Barbet is a newsreader and reporter on the BBC's regional service for London, BBC London.

He regularly presents the late night BBC London News bulletin, during the Ten O'Clock News on BBC One. In November 2006, he presented BBC London's Children In Need coverage.

Before joining BBC London he worked at BBC Radio 1 as a newsreader on the Sara Cox Breakfast Show, and also appeared briefly as a newsreader on Channel 5.
