Matt's Gourmet Hot Dogs (formerly Matt's Famous Chili Dogs) is a fast-food Hot Dog chain that specializes in authentic hot dogs. At first, Matt's Gourmet Hot Dogs specialized in chili dogs, but then branched out into other hot dog varieties, such as the Chicago-style hot dog.
There are currently six locations, located throughout western Washington. Four are located in Seattle, Washington, with two more located in Totem Lake and Renton, Washington. A seventh location used to exist in Bellevue, but construction of a highrise has temporarily closed this location.

[edit] History
The first Matt's Famous Chili Dog stand was located in South Seattle and opened in 1992. Soon after the Entrepreneur, Matt Jones, opened up other locations throughout Seattle, Washington. The other locations upgraded to sit-in resturants, whereas the first location was an authentic Chicago-styled Hot dog stand. The main menu item started out as the Chili Dog, with the Chicago-style hot dog as a second place item. After time, however, Matt realized that the Chicago-style hot dog was one of the fastest and most popular sellers, so he opted to rename his chain Matt's Gourmet Hot Dogs.
To try to re-create the taste of "authentic" hot dogs from Chicago and New York, ingredients are flown in from distributors from those cities that supply hot dog stands locally.
