Mathers Corners, Ontario

Mathers Corners is a very small settlement near Keene, Ontario and Villiers, Ontario in Otonabee-South Monaghan township. The settlement is surrounded by farmland.
The population of Mathers Corners is extremely minimal. As Mathers Corners is not incorporated, it is not included in the census. The approximate population is about 50.
A private farm located in Mathers Corners, called the Glen Isle Farms, was selected among hundreds of other Ontario locations to host the 2006 International Plowing Match. More information regarding the International Plowing Match and how Mathers Corners benefited, can be found at www.plowingmatch.org.
